Jon and Betty Hehman of Woodstock, Georgia

The Hehmans are just simple country farm folks living out in the woods with their animals in a tiny homemade cabin with a tin roof. Miss Betty takes the wagon into town usually and helps out at the airplane shop while Jon struggles with the Truth of the Universe and keeps up with the oil changes in the tractor.

Jon's 1000 miles in British Columbia and Montana...

Early morning coffee after spending the night rough-camped along Libby Creek in Montana. He must be thinking about another 110 miles in the saddle, and no civilization to be found---which suites him just fine. Of course, that may mean no pancakes to be found either.
Ah, solitude. This is along the Vermillion River between Radium Hot Springs and Castle Mountain in British Columbia.

What were the poor people doing then...?

Miss Betty and Miss Andrea on the balcony of our very exclusive suite (of more than one room) at the world renowned Muller Hotel on the Mosel River in Deutschland.
Miss Betty consented to meet with young Herr Schumacher as we luxuriated in Oy-rope-ah among the grapes, and he begged her for a photo to show his friends. Betty is sure he's never forgotten the moment. She was so nice to him.

Here they are before taking up housekeeping.

Hmmmm...... When was that anyway?
